Summary

  1. A SWMM model is built for the East River watershed and the idealized stormwater system at the Village of Bellevue

  2. Backwater due to downstream water level fluctuations can attenuate discharge and cause fluctuations during the low-flow period. Impacts of backwater will increase from upstream to downstream

  3. Stormwater can change flow conveyance direction and capability, resulting in flash flooding in urban areas.
